We can’t pay you, but this will look great for your demo reel.
I agree and disagree with this.
Working for free - especially for exposure on a major platform - can be an exceptionally valuable thing.
Case in point: I wrote for free for CollegeHumor for several years, just cuz it was cool, and fun. Because of this exposure, I wrote an article that was read by my future wife, and now we’re like in love and stuff.

I agree with Justin here, it’s sometimes a good thing to do when you’re starting off and once you become good enough and you start making enough money you can AFFORD to work for some good exposure. Just make sure the exposure is worth your time, that’s all.
