Farewell

After nearly five years with Gawker Media, I’m moving on. I’ll be heading over to Thrillist in a few weeks as Managing Editor, Strategy & Content. The move is bittersweet, as many of you have become a dysfunctional family to me. Yes, I’m talking about you, Kidder.

Gawker.TV will carry on as Gawker’s video channel, Matt Cherette will be incorporated into Gawker.com and Whitney Jefferson will move over to Jezebel. I’m sure they will shine in their new roles, and I thank them for all their dedication over the past year.

I’m truly grateful for the time spent getting to know all of you, and I wish everyone the best. I’ll still be in SoHo, and I hope to see everyone around the neighborhood.
