peterfeld:

Sometimes I remember that almost no one who reads my site knows what I do. Right? Well, you may know my political writing, or my background in polling, or as a market research director at Conde Nast, or as a web editor for Conde’s parenting lifestyle magazine Cookie. But most recently, I’ve been working as an editorial launch content strategist. My most recent project, the relaunch of Interbrand’s branding site brandchannel, just went live. Take a look!
The concept behind new brandchannel is: the branding angle on the day’s business news. The home page has a branding news blog, featuring writers long associated with the site as well as some new ones (including a few, like Allison Mooney, Nic Musolino, Jennifer Wright, Corianna Sichel, and Stephanie Startz, who will be familiar to Tumblr readers). There will be humor and fun, as well as insight, and useful features like a morning summary of branding news headlines. If you are interested in these topics, by all means you should keep an eye on the site, and never be shy about linking to any of our items. The site’s editor is Jim Thompson.
Brandchannel can be followed on Twitter (there’s an empty Tumblr, but we’ll start using it soon), added on Facebook, and there’s a daily e-mail newsletter that you should sign up for (see right side of home page). Story ideas can be sent to tips@brandchannel.com.
Hope you enjoy the site. Feedback?

It feels like everyone is announcing new things they’re launching on tumblr these days. Good luck with this dude, the site looks great.
